We have had some English-speaking press interest in our work fighting the forest fires. Having press interest can be helpful with funding and donations, so we were happy to accommodate the requests from two media enquiries during our stint of firefighting in Chiang Mai province in March. Both pieces have now been published and can be viewed via the links in the main story.
Will Langston, a freelance photojournalist who has lived in Chiang Mai since 2017, initially followed us around for a weekend when we were based in Chiang Mai. He joined us in the firefight at Si Lanna National Park. He has since joined us for a further couple of weeks to record interviews, and get more footage for his forthcoming documentary on the subject. Read Will's article for Chiang Mai City Life here.
Also, whilst in Chiang Mai, a team from Sky News UK spent a morning filming us putting out a fire, also at the Si Lanna National Park - we were here on a number of days as the surrounding area was dotted with numerous fires. The article and video are both part of Sky News' new Daily Climate Show.
